I'm having problems with my HTC one. Its running santods lollipop stock v1.02 rom, currently I'm not able to move files into the internal SD card, and not able to delete files via root browser. Any thoughts to fix the problem?

Movies not saving on SD Card. topic

Hello folks, I bought my M8 3 weeks ago and it is rooted, unlocked bootloader, latest TWRP, stock sense ROM and elemental x kernel. I initially purchased a 32gb Samsung evo sd card but found myself maxing it within a few days with movies, then i bought a 64gb Samsung evo sd card and assumed all was well. I formatted the card and ran the external sd card patch app from the playstore which granted me write permission to the sd card (it is not possible on stock htc kernel but ss soon ss i flashed elementalx kernel it allowed me to write any data to the sd card).

But the problem is whenever i download a movie via utorrent and set the download path to the sd card, it downloads fine, but when i use my file explorer to check the sd card movie download folder, it shows the movie folder name but when i open the folder there is nothing inside or someimes it doesn't even show the movie folder at all, almost as if it was never even downloaded but if i switch back to utorrent, the movie is 100% downloaded and is uploading.

Sometimes, it actually downloads and i can see the movie in the folder, but when i click on the movir, it says 'Sorry unable to play thid file'. I have use astro file manager and es file manager, i have used diceplayer, mx player sand bs player. I don't think the file manager or the the media player is the problem. When i open settings and go to make more space, 10gb of my sd storage is being taken by these files but they are nowhere to be found on my sd card storage using a file manager. But i know these movies are on the sd card because it is taking up gigabytes of space.

I've tried to reformat the sd card, factory reset the phone e.t.c. but i am still having the ssme issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

well I have a problem with a bike g (2014) xt1063 that in trying to make root the phone is brinckeo, after installing the orginal rom not detect my sim card, and enter commserver on the part of fastboot says factory I give where it says sim card and displays the following msg:
PHONE ICCID: PHONE_ICCID_UNKNOWN
SIM ICCID: XXXXXXXXXXXX
COMPARE WITH PHONE SIM ICCID ICCID: errror

and between at * # * # 4636 * # * # I get the "radio off" and try to turn it simply does nothing

any solution?

bueno tengo un problema con un moto g (2014) xt1063 que al tratar de hacer el root el telefono se brinckeo, luego de instalar la rom orginal no me detecta la sim card, y al entrar por commserver en la parte del fastboot que dice factory, le doy en donde dice sim card y muestra el siguiente msj:
PHONE ICCID: PHONE_ICCID_UNKNOWN
SIM ICCID:XXXXXXXXXXXX
PHONE ICCID COMPARE WITH SIM ICCID: ERRROR

y al entre por *#*#4636*#*# me sale la "radio apagada" y tratar de encenderla simplemente no hace nada

hard reset question about apps on sd card topic

my phone is runnign sluggish,. its due a hard reset, i have a lot of apps stored on thesd card, but i seem to recall last time i hard reset the phone i had to reinstall the apps from the play store...
is this required? or can i just copy the app shortcut back from the sd card to the phone?
if i do need to reinstall then i move the data over to the sd card again am i not just doubling up files on the sd card?
its stock rom, so i cant use all those titanium backup apps and stuff as far as i know..

i installed a new rom and didnt like it so i want to go back to my old one. i did a nandroid backup before but now i cant access the sd card from my pc.
i want to but the backup on it to then flash it from the recovery. all that is left on my phone is the recovery and it seems like i can not put any files on the sd card from my pc without a rom :(

Just when it went out if warranty, I keep getting this pop up and need top keep restarting the phone. I have the Tmo version with everything stock.

Hi! So I just bought the Honor 6 a couple of days ago, and the thing that is bugging me is that it seems my micro-sim card is a little too big for the phone. I would assume all micro sim card are the same size. So the open/close plastic bit for the sim/sd cards is sticking out a little, and has opened sometimes when I take the phone out of my pocket. So then my sim card isn't longer connected and I have to restart the phone.
And today I bought a microSDHC card, and since the plastic bit isn't completely into the phone, then the sd card isn't in. So when I put my finger on the plastic bit to close it, then the sd card work, but is somehow being removed when I don't have my finger on it. And so my sim card isn't longer connected anymore and I have to restart my phone.
I have tried to look up others with the same problem, but haven't really found any.
Am I the only around here who has this problem?

I just got my Note 4. For some reason it is not writeable to my sd when I am in Titanium backup or anything els. Files cane be accessed, but I cannot write to it. Is theree a write lock or something on the phone?

Hi, as the thread title says, I've been through this issue lately.

It started about last year, but lately, in the last three or two months it has become more frequent. I get this message at least once in a day or twodays. Sometimes even more times in a day.

I perform a soft reboot and then the card works, I never lost a file so far.
but sometimes some minutes later i get the error message again.

I have a Sandisk 32 gb class 10, the one in the picture.

My c2105 is rooted, bootloader unlocked and stock 4.2.2 rom (the .17 firmware).

HTC ONE (M8) Troubleshooting
I recently updated my HTC one M8 (India) to 5.0.1 Lollipop (Stock HTC).
3rd party file managers require me to select SD card root directory for write access. Accordingly it takes me to the documents app. Then when I slide from the left it shows Internal storage and a blank title showing the SD card. When I select the SD card, the app (documents) crashes. And I am unable to select the root directory, and therefore I cannot use 3rd party file managers. Please Help!
