[Q] How to disable wireless charging and battery full notifications on Lollipop topic

Has anyone found a way to disable the annoying wireless battery notification or the battery full notification? It is really annoying if you are in a car using a wireless charger and run an app that keeps the screen turned on. For example, if the screen is on when you place the phone on the charger, the charging notification will appear and never go away. The same thing happens when you are driving along and the battery reaches 100%. The notification is stuck on the screen until you turn off the screen and then turn it back on. Is there a better way to avoid this?

Just to be sure that I'll loose my son's' 6 year birthday....

I did received a remanufactured nexus 5 (previous one had a broken mike), I did encrypt my device, I think I didn't enable USB debugging.

Now my screen is broken (don't know why, nothing special, just droped it on my desk as usual), and I only can enter in fastboot and recovery, but no adb...

1. adb won't work in recovery
2. I did install driver, I'm trying to go on recovery blind, eg, two times volume down then power. Power hold on + volume up : adb doesn't see any device
3. I though I could make a full backup from adb then recover this backup on a new device or on emulator
4. I'll quit encryption for sure next time, it was for an rma purpose, eg no one can see my data when he or she gets my device rebulked

Digitizer not working on full screen topic

Guys, a heavy piece fell on my screen and now the digitizer is not working on full screen... It misses someting like 5cm of the touch.
Screen is not cracked, visualy perfect, not even a dent on it.
Any clue what i can do?
Replace the digitizer module? Try to remove it and install back to see the flat cable?
I saw some videos that is impossible to remove the digitizer without breaking the glass on it, is that true?

It's the 10.1 inch

I just rooted my tablet today and gained su.
I can give apps su. I get the give su prompt box.
I used the Odin method from this site by chainfire.

Now I managed to kill knox. I closed and un-installed all 6 knox stuff with titanium backup. I did create a back up file for all of them but I don't think you can restore them.

I need busy box for some of my root apps to function because I need the killall.

For some reason busy box gets error message saying there might be a problem with my root.


Anyone have any suggestions?

Our hammerhead currently lacks full support for ambient display in Android L. One+1 has the kernel changes we need already merged(https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andro...517ed494760b5f). I checked this patch before - it's not a match to our source, it needs some more merges in video drivers. I was just wondering if anyone on XDA tried to get this working and wanted to share progress and experiences with doze mode on 3.4 msm kernel?

How to grant FULL sd card access for apps on Android 5.0 Lollipop [IN PICTURES] topic

Hi,

Earlier this morning,I received the Android 5.0.1 "Lollipop" OTA update for my HTC One M8 here in the UK.

Android 4.4 Kit Kat was the first Android release to place a strict restriction on not allowing any third-arty application (app) to be able to write anywhere to the sd card if it was not to the apps own designated folder on the sd card. This became a frustration to many Android users and developers alike in who found this newly imposed restriction a torment.

Thankfully Android 5.0 Lollipop yielded to the crowds displeasure by providing a security driven method to once again allow third-party apps (on the users choosing) to be able to write/edit files anywhere on the sd card. It was for the very same reason of security in why Android 4.4 Kit Kat went ahead and implemented this restriction in the first place.
