After accidentally taking the OTA from Verizon and of course my ignorance and wanting to root, I ended up bricking my phone. Not once but twice. The first time I used Verizon Software Repair Assistant with success, the second time I wasn't so lucky. I tried and tried everything but to no avail and finally I came across the new firmware NK1 for Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Note 3 through Sammobile. I downloaded it and Odin it to my Note and success. No root of course but at least now if I brick it again I can recover. I'll try to include the .tar file for anyone's use.
