Question: How can I enable UMTS AWS (B4) on Samsung Galaxy S5 Active (Canadian variant, although if there is any solution to AT&T variant it probably works for this one as well)?
I have tried all the methods that I could have found on XDA or elsewhere but had no luck (incl. QPST/QXDM NV entry, hidden menus, ...). On QPST when I retrieve the Freqs from my phone all bands are selected but there is no B4 (AWS). Is there something that I am missing? BTW, when I want to write to my phone (after using QXDM to enable writing), QPST throws an exception which indicates that phone has been disconnected (which is not the case). Is there any known method which can fix this issue and have UMTS AWS enabled on S5 Active?
A broader question: Since S5 and S5 Active use the same chips (my understanding), is it even possible that this be a HW limitation on Active?
