Rooted G Pad 8.0 LTE, not able to delete system apps from carrier topic

Hi, I just rooted my G Pad 8.0 LTE with purpledrake, installed SuperSU and Titanium Backup and it seems like I have root, but I can't uninstall some system apps from my carrier Orange. Is it normal? It says "failed to locate apk file". I have titanium installed on my Galaxy S3 rooted and I can uninstall any system app I want. I also get a warning when I start Titanium: "the mount namespace separation setting in supersu might not work reliably on some platforms. If you encounter any problems please try changing it" :confused:

Can not able to enter recovery mod topic

all the instruction are same.

1. press and hold the power button + volume down button at the same time.
2. when see the lg logo release them.
3. then push them again and hold (or hold only volume down button)
4. then I will enter in the recovery mod on lg g 2


but unfortunately this instruction did not working for my lg g2!

how will i do now?

i have put wrong knock code and then i need to put the backup code but unfortunately i have forgotten the code. there is no internet connection on the phone so Google recovery doesn't working. what can i do now?
still i am not able to enter recovery mod, so i am not able to hard reset

I don't want to start from scratch. If I just unroot in SuperSu, will I be able to ugprade in place to 4.4.4?

Hey guys! I am an absolute noob in these things and I have no idea of what to do what so ever. I was following the method of converting from wonderhowto with the help of moonshine but did not achieve S-OFF. I tried Rumrunner and the same thing happened. I still cannot achieve S-OFF. My Hboot version is 1.57 and I really want to convert my phone to GPE with OTA updates and stuff like that. If anyone can help me with the whole process in details. I will take it slowly and finish this conversion as soon as possible.

I saw somewhere that I need to flash some other rom first and then I have to then run rumrunner but the thing is I dont even know how to flash rom and stuff like that.. So if anyone can help me achieve my target.. I will be thankful.. and if there is a post like this before, please link as I have already searched as much before posting this up.

[Q] Unable to turn on, but able to charge topic

Hello

I cannot turn on my Samsung G. Alpha. It charges, and the display shows the battery icon and the "charging animation", so the display works.
The notification light also works (is lights up green)

I have tried removing the battery - but that's about all i tried before running out of ideas.
I can open it if necessary

*Note* The phone has been exposed to some water, but I am pretty sure it hasn’t become wet inside.

Any suggestions?

I've tried several online unlocking services and each one of them has (eventually) told me that the system *everyone* uses to generate unlock codes from IMEI numbers for Samsung devices has been down since before xmas.

I've just moved to another country and I really need to get my phone unlocked, is there no way to get it unlocked so I can use a local SIM in it at all?

At the moment it's basically just a very small tablet. :(

[Q] Problem for many - not able to install lollipop OTA topic

As you can see in this forum - many are having problem installing the latest lollipop OTA. What I did -
1 . Unlocked the boot loader
2. Installed custom recovery
3. rooted the phone
4. flashed back the stock recovery so I can install the OTA from HTC.
Nothing more nothing less. Now I am not able to install latest OTA - Phone downloads the OTA, boot in to recovery, starts installing the OTA and than it fails and recovery shows a deadly RED TRIANGLE.
I did thorough research across this forums to fix the issue and I see many people have similar issue.
Available OPTIONS - SINCE my phone is S-OFF so they are limited

1. Flashing the firmware - but coudln't find a firmware which matched my phone's cid and mid
2. RUU - Not sure if I can install it while being S-ON and if yes than which one should match my phone
3. I have lollipop OTA file downloaded and have firmware file inside it. some one suggested get the recovery from firmware zip and flash it. How can I get recovery from firmware zip, file doesnt even get unzipped.

I am currently on -
Software version - 3.29.166.9
cid: VODAP110
mid: 0P6B10000

Any help/suggesstions would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Not able to wipe cache topic

I have a stock phone. On the latest update. For some reason when I complete a wipe cache in recovery mode and select reboot phone says error right before it starts up. Would I need to factory reset? Was hoping I could wipe cache so I could see if it would fix some problems Ive been experiencing.

whenever i watch a video about installing ubuntu-desktop via MultiROM, they say you have to choose 'ubuntu' as romtype. There isn't such a romtype on my MultiROM(intalles via the mromManager-app), there are only Android, SailfishOS and *.mrom files. How to fix that?

[Need Help] Not able to share 3G Data via "Mobile Network Sharing" topic

Hello Members,
I have opted for BSNL (India) 3G service recently and its working okay on HTC One E8 but after turning "Mobile Network Sharing" on, data connection is turned off. I have tried sharing via Wifi Hotspot, USB Tethering but am still unsuccessful in sharing mobile`s data connection with laptop. Any solution for this issue.
