I recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 SM-T700 and I've install TWRP recovery. I believe the next step is to install CyanogenMod. From what I have read it is not yet available for my tablet only the Samsung PRO. Is there any other alternative? What else can I do to install custom Roms?:confused:

before, I was using lmt launcher and it has a great shortcut I could enable to switch to last app. I would like to set something like that up in the quick launch ebb in CM. anybody know how I could invoke this? maybe with a tasker task?

3g issues in cyanogenmod 11 topic

Hey Guys,
First of all SORRY for my BAD english
i wanna tell you that i have install cyanogenmod 11 on my micromax canvas a1 which is a android one device,
the version of cyanogenmod is lastest but i am unable to change my network to 3G,
whenever i change it to 3g, the network icon in the status bar disappear for 4-5 sec and show (E) sign, (edge) sign again.:confused::eek:

Is there any solution for that, I am in very bad situation
please reply developers !

hi guys


after installing CM12, its gapps and super SU..... everything work normal and good !!!!!!!!

by mistake i install this root(CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300.tar), and i get the CM12 stuck at logo mode, not only this, but also the custom recovery (Philz touch 6) i installed also is gone, i try to use the odin to restore the 4.3 firmware and install the CM12 again, but the odin gives me invalid binary error !!!!!!!!!!!!!

please guys any help, i am in big problem now, could i get the help please !!!!!!!

[Q] Cyanogenmod 12 doesn't show any notifications topic

I am running Cyanogenmod 12 on my nexus 4, latest nightly build.
Since I have updated to CM12 I dont recieve notifications like from whatsapp or hangouts. My phone vibrates but I always have to lookup all apps to find out in which one the notification appeared ;)

Any ideas how to fix this? I havent found this issue elsewhere in the web.

[Q] cyanogenmod ota auto updates not working topic

Hello everyone,

My cm auto updater hasn't been working for about the last week. It used to work fine, but just randomly stopped.
Basically what happens is I download a nightly, and then hit reboot and install like usual, but then it just boots to twrp and doesn't actually run the update. I tried putting the downloaded file on the root and flashing it manually through twrp, but when I swipe to flash the screen goes black and reboots twrp.

I tried wiping and clean installing cm, which worked fine, but the next nightly still did the same thing.
I also tried upgrading to the latest twrp, which also didn't fix it....

Any ideas? Thanks :)

First time installing CyanogenMod 12.0 to your Nexus 7 or coming from another ROM:

• Read the official Wiki page


• Unlock your bootloader if you haven't done so already


• Flash a custom recovery via Fastboot


• Push GApps and the CM 12.0 zip to your device


• Boot into Recovery


• Perform factory reset


• Flash the CM 12.0 zip from SD card


• Flash GApps for Lollipop from SD card


• Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)


• Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!


• Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 12.0:

• Push the new CM 12.0 zip to your SD card


• Boot into Recovery


• Flash the CM 12.0 zip from SD card


• Optionally flash the most recent GApps for Lollipop if you encounter problems

Help please! Xoom 3g with Cyanogenmod 4.4.4 locks up / freezes topic

I am not new to flashing custom Roms. I purchased this Xoom 3g tablet used. I thought the stock OS was a bit sluggish. So, I decided to install Cyanogenmod CM11 (everest). For some reason the tablet seems to freeze / lock-up intermittently. I did some research and found an article stating there was some compatibility issues with the newest "p-gapps" package. So, I flashed an older version. I also read about some potential issues with the newest version of Chrome browser. I have since disabled it.

I am still having the same issue.

Ideas? I was thinking about OmniRom, only if it will fix my issue.

Installing Cyanogenmod using Cyanogen Recovery? topic

Hi,

I'm trying to install Cyanogenmod on a Sony Xperia Z2 Wifi tablet and am following the directions on the cyanogenmod wiki (using the most recent nightly), but unfortunately I loaded the 'boot.img' and instead of taking me to ClockworkMod Recovery it has taken me to 'Cyanogen Recovery'. In this Cyanogen Recovery I just can't see a way to install Cyanogenmod according with the directions.

I'd really love some help, as for now my tablet is unusable and I need to use it!

This Poll was on the Note 4 forum and was closed by the Admin because it was "off topic"... so I presume it is completely ON topic in the General Android forum...

Personally, I am pretty disgusted by McMasterbater and his arrogance. Cyanogenmod make good roms but seem to be getting too big for their boots, saying he wants to "take Android away from Google".
Now they have investors, including Microsoft, as well as stockholders and executives to impress, so they seem to have lost that original personality of taking stock android and modding it. Now they plan to fork Android much like Amazon have... which is a major change of their way of doing things... and I do not like it at all.

To me, Lollipop WITH GOOGLE is THE best mobile phone experience, so IMO, Cyanogen can go jump in the lake.

What do you think?

Installation Instructions

3. Download the current HTC One Mini 2 build from the CyanogenMod site.


4. Locate Gapps.


5. Fully wipe your device from Recovery if you are not coming from CM11.0 already.
