[Q] Xiaomi Redmi Note random reboots /app fc topic

Hello!
I have recently bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note wcdma device
When device came he had a faulty updater so i've decided to update the firmware to the latest firm available (via recovery). Before and after the update the device had the same problems: random reboots and some app/sometimes froze the phone.
So i flashed a rom via fastboot with spflash. I had the same problems.
The curent version that i am using is Official Stable Multilanguage WCDMA MIUI v5 39.0.0
I got system freeze when i was trying to clean recent apps and when i played Shadow Fight 2.
In the last case was a softreboot that i have succesfully catched in a logcat.

[Q] xiaomi mi 4 contact list gone topic

please help,

i'm having trouble with the xiaomi 4 contact list, as you can see i'm having issues with my contact list somehow all my contact list is still there but now showing their number only the whatsapp / wechat details. the phone number is shown only when i klik the whatsapp icon there and cannot make a direct phone call as it will lead me to the whatsapp icon and thus i must add the number to my contact list manually.
worse thing happenned if the contact is not in my whatsapp list and only in wechat / neither of them, the phone number basically just gone.....
this is quite troublesome and it happens whenever i update my MIUI, i don't sync with the mi cloud server.

anyone have any solutions for me that would be nice

Installation
(Take Backup of your current Rom)
-Copy the ROM into root of storage
-Wipe Data/Cache/System# ("#" = 1 or 2)

Alarms (wakeups: 53 , 4.9/h) android.net.connectivityservice.action.pkt_cnt_sam ple_interval_elapsed

Recently I found the above alarm keeps draining my battery using "BetterBatteryStats" app, even it shows my phone is at 96% deep sleep. (Note: wifi, gps and bluetooth off, No SIM Card) I can assure that this "alarm" is the only culprit. Can I know what is it exactly?? And how to remove/disable it?? :confused: Kindly need help!!

I know this is Xperia U forum. And What I wanted to say is I am also an Xperia U user and developed a JB based ROM and currently bcoz of issues with my laptop cant port any ROMS.
If any kind developer here can make or port Lollopop based roms for Xiaomi REDMI 1s?
This is a request from all the users of REDMI 1S.
I know that there are many great developers in Xperia forums. Can any one of them take part in Lollipop ROMS for REDMI 1S? Kernel Surce is also released by XIaomi.
There were many guys who are ready to be beta testers if u start work.
I know about the devs here and everybody wanna make most out of the device. I respect all the Devs here bcoz of the ROMS I have used on my Xperia U.
ALL REDMI 1S users are waiting for developers who can make it. There is no active developer in REDMI 1s forum.

Xiaomi will release a outstanding Hi-Fi headphone tomorrow ,Jan 27th ,2015 .Hope it is really good enough as what we all Mi fans expect !

Xiaomi headset is designed with oversized 50 mm diaphragm , 25% larger than the same level headphones, do better bass performance. Meanwhile ,it is only 2 microns thin.

[Q] [BUG] Xposed Framework in Xiaomi RedMi Note 3G MTK6592 topic

Hello :)

I have a problem with Xposed in RedMi Note Xiaomi 3G - MIUI 6.

Specifically with versions 2.5.1 above. When I install a higher version, cant not use keyboard, I was going to lag, if I go back to 2.5.1 or lower goes perfectly.
Keyboard I use Google or any other. Tested on several Xiaomi RedMi Note MTK6592 3G, same problem.

Can someone help me? I can upload a video sample.

I made this thread for those who are getting frustrated with Xiaomi and recently they are talking of signing Petition for releasing source code of Xiaomi Mi3 specially in India.

Beofore I start this thread, You must know that from begining, Xiaomi is Providing the Best to us.. How?? Let us Know..

Xiaomi Mi3 was first released in China for Almost Rs. 24000 and it was running on android 4.3 JellyBean with Miui V5.
Then It was rumored in India without Revealing the price and we thought its price will be almost 20000 and it will be a great choice.
When Xiaomi revealed it will be Only 14999, we smiled. Then You says, its JellyBean, Kitkat would have been better.. Xiaomi does that to You & you smiled More. Then when Mi3 was released price was cut 1000 more meaning only Rs. 13999. You smiled More & More..

After the last sale of Xiaomi Mi3, or after 0ne-two months, Xiaomi Owners started to request for these things..

I want to say, its only have 6 months from the last sale of Xiaomi Mi3, What more you want from Xiaomi as they are constantly releasing device such as..

1. 4K video Recording
Download Snap Camera HDR from Google Play (Trial or Full),
Open this app and tap on white-three-dot button on bottom left corner, then tap on "Other" and tick the "Show Advanced Settings" Option after that tap on "Video" and slide down to Tick on "4K video Support" option and slide up and tap on "Video Quality" option and choose "HD 4k 3840x2160".
And yes you can now record in 4k.

--> If you get a message, "Set camera failed", you have choosen, "HD 4k 4096X2160", its not supported, remember to choose "HD 4k 3840x2160".
--> If that app stucks or freezes, set your device from Balanced to Performance mode, to do so, Go to "Settings" app then tap "Battery" then Power Settings and Choose "Performance Mode".

2. Slow Motion Recording
Download Snap Camera HDR from Google Play (Trial or Full),
Open this app and tap on white-three-dot button on bottom left corner, then tap on "Other" and tick the "Show Advanced Settings" Option after that tap on "Video" and then set "Video Quality" to "HD 720p" then slide down, click on "Video High Frame Rate" and choose "120".

--> If your video is not recording in slow motion, check you have set video quality in 720p
--> If you get a message, "Set camera failed", then you have ticked "Use HFR frameRate", it should not be ticked..

3. Whole world in single Photo, Photo Sphere..
Download Google Camera App from Playstore.
Open this App and slide from left edge to get options. Then click on the top most icon that is Photosphere. and What start capturing Your 3D around world.

4. Best Photo Low Light, Noiseless.
For this, Download A Better Camera App from Playstore.
Now Open & Slide from Top & Tap "More Settings". Then Tap "General Settings" then "Image Size" then set "13.1 Mpix 4:3" on both..
Then Go two times back & Tap "Shooting Modes Setting" & then tap on "Night", uncheck the "Night-vision Viewfinder".
Now Go Back to Camera and tap on Bottom Right Button and Choose "Night" mode..

-->Don't panic, when You click shutter, it will take 8 photos & then choose best 4 and combined them into One to make a Noiseless pic.
-->If you feel too much lag, you must set camera to 13.1MP, not 10MP..

5. HDR Video Recording Best for Low Light..
Download A Better Camera App from Playstore.
Now Open & Tap on Bottom Right Button and choose "Video" then Tap on Top-Right Button and Set "HDR On"..

6. Clone Camera, Clone Yourself..
It can Clone You, like, in one photo you are four..
For doing so, Download Clone Camera 2.0 from Playstore.
Open this App, and tap on Top Right Corner settings button and enable High Quality.
Then Start Capturing, You can Capture upto 4 photos and minimum 2.
While Capturing, do not move rotate your camera much.
Then click on tick button and press and hold on to outline the things you want in your photo.. and then press tick button.. Its done..
Now save that photo by clicking on top right corners button and choosing save..

7. Your Camera a Measurement Tool??
With this Cool Camera app, we can actually measure Length, Angle, Area and Diameter. Wow..
Just capture a Pic, then click on Calibrate and set the outline measurement of whatever you want, a building or else. and Measure..
Just 3 steps, Image Capture, calibrate & Measure.. Wow..
I'm still being familiar with that app so You may give it a try..
