This screen shows the photo of the park pines tree, and I want to change it but don't know where it needs to be changed.

I thought it was /system/media/screensaver/default.png as this was the same, but having changed that, I'm still seeing the tree pic.

Ok, so, here's my research progress so far:
1. My phone is locked to T-Mobile.
2. My friend wants to use it with her At&t SIM
3. Requires unlock code.
4. Call T-Mobile to ask, they tell me I have to ask Walmart Family Mobile cause that's where I got the prepaid SIM for the phone.
5. Last time I used the Family Mobile was like, 2 years ago. I called and they said I'd be eligible for the unlock code if I paid my back dues. They totaled around 9 (no thanks).
6. Try to use the two actually free services online that provide the unlock code if you provide the MEI (waded through leagues of "FREE! but actually pay ").
7. Internet says something about unlock code being in a BAK file or something, requires rooting.
8. Rooted, installed Cyanogenmod.
9. A couple forums say something about doing ESF backup and doing some copypaste with a file in the backup.
10. Tried like 3 different ESF backup apps/programs, everytime I still can't find ESF folder/files anywhere with my computer.

Please help, I've been wondering a maze for the past 6 hours.

First of all Hi!, thanks all of you for your work and for share it making our life (the ones don´t know so much) much more enjoyable.
Now, I have an C6503, It worked perfectly but one day it started to losse service, (I used 3G without any troubles before). I have used the SIM in other phones without any troubles (The company is Entel, Chile). So trying to make it work, i selected ONLY GSM and it´s the only way it works, when I use WCDMA it losses conection. Searching in the internet a guy mencioned a way to lock the bands used by the phone and with this configuration all the problems were solved, BUT he only knows how to do it in Samsung devices. So the question is, do you know how to lock the frequencies of the bands of the phone?????? ( I used recovery, Pc Companion, flashed existenz rom without any luck, android 4.4.4, kernel 283).

I've followed the steps correctly, eg, using huawei product ID generator to get my code, then I proceed to the site and fill in all required info, but I keep getting this message after i click submit "We regret to say that the information you are searching is not found. Pleae mail to mobile@huawei.com, We'll respond to you as soon as possible, thanks."

I check every steps and its correct, there are no typo also. How can I get my unlock code? :crying: Mine is L09 btw

Can anyone unlock the phone using home button ?
it only works with the power button for me. The home button works when the screen is on but not when , the screen is turned off the phone flashes for brief second then screen goes off, i noticed this before i downgraded and after it has always been like this, its like I am double tapping it when I am not . I get the same response if i double tap the power button

Smart Unlock - Incompatible App List topic

Hi,
Some users report that Smart Unlock stops working after some time. After some investigation we discovered that the problem is related with other installed apps or specific configurations.

There are some app that may affect to Smart Unlock correct behaviour. Here you have some of the detected incompatible apps but there may be more :

Clean Master,
ES Task Manager
SONY Smart Connect
Llama (profile manager)
ACDisplay
Snaplock Locker
Gravity Screen Pro
Airwatch

There are also some power saving profiles/apps that can make smart unlock to stop working, For example HTC battery power saver, or SONY Stamina, If your wifi or BT connection gets interrupted, you will be request for the pin or pattern unlock in the next screen wake up.

Keep also in mind that Bluetooth Low Energy devices are not supported at all, so make sure you are using a regular bluetooth.

There are also some corporation security like Exchange policy or Airwatch app that wil make Smart Unlock to stop the normal behaviour.

Smart Unlock - Samsung compatibility topic

As you may already know, we can not make the app to work with most SAMSUNG devices due to samsung modifications in the native android lockscreen keyguard.
Only working properly on samsung google edition or with custom ROM like CyanogenMod. Sorry about that, we even purchased a Galaxy S5 to find a workaround for this, but this was not possible at the end.

We could create a Samsung exclusive version of Smart Unlock but this would be only possible if the samsung device is using PIN (and the PIN should be configured inside our app). We do not like this because you can not use lock pattern for example. We will consider for the future.

UPDATE: We are seriously thinking about this samsung compatibility only when using PIN. Many users requested this. Using PIN would also bring other possibiltys like better NFC support. I will keep this thread informed. I would expect a working beta release for samsung around the end of March.

I have used Nexus toolkit for my nexus 4. Is galaxy tab s supported by any similar software which makes the process of rooting/flashing very easy? Or is Odin the best way to do this?

[Q] PIN Unlock and Region reset GT-I9195 topic

Hi,
My GT-I9195 sourced from Europe as an airline rewards item. Fortunately, was travelling to UK and took advantage of advice from documentation and confirmed with Samsung in UK that as long as phone used in Europe for 5 mins of calls, it would accept new SIM from provider in Australia without problem ie it would have unlocked itself from Europe zone. (on return to Australia, phone still receiving messages from Vodaphone in UK with original 1 month only expired SIM.) Before getting and installing new SIM, I set a PIN, didn't use phone for a month and committed worst sin of forgetting PIN. So I have two options I think.
1) Do factory reset and then cope with region reset since I am assuming phone will revert to Europe only. Not worried about losing data.
2) Clear PIN using one of methods available on XDA such as http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2397797 but this will work with debug mode only. In order to set debug mode need access to settings which is not possible with phone PIN locked. So catch 22.
Would appreciate any advice with this. Would value simplest solution since although I am PC competent, phones are a whole new area for me. Thanks in advance.

bootloader refuses to unlock topic

I've tried to unlock the boot loader of my HTC one m7 to no avail.
I tried unlocking it via htcdev but after wiping my phone, my boot loader still remained locked.
is there any alternative way of unlocking the boot loader without htcdev?
I saw one that involved typing some commands in fastboot but I'm afraid that might wreck the phone.
PS, I'm a newbie so please make any suggestions as plain as possible
