What Video Recording app are you using? topic

I'm currently using the Cinema Fv 5 but it stutters while recording video 4k, 1080p and etc. I've used the stock camera which has a problem with focusing.

I love the Cinema Fv 5 app just wish it didn't have lag or stutter

Two way call recording disabled? topic

I had been using ACR call recorder since about November and it had been working great but recently I went to listen to some recordings and they were not there. I left a negative review and was informed that with androind 5.0 motorola had disabled the 2 way call recording feature they used.

Is there a way around this? Can I reenable this feature somehow? I am happy to root and boot a custom rom I just want to know for sure that will solve the problem before I do it.

Sorry if this has came up before - given what the question is it wouldn't surprise me if it had!

Does anyone know what the, generally accepted as, best video recording app for our phones are? After coming from iOS, the camera functions are the only part of the phone that I'm finding it hard to match the iPhone.

I generally take a lot of videos and edit them. Mini-movies aren't aren't at all uncommon for me to film.

Whilst I'm still using my iPad for editing the films (iMovie and so on), I'm anxious to continue to use (and enjoy doing so) my S4 for video recording. My old 5S shot incredible video and even at lower resolution settings the output was generally smoother than the S4 shoots at the same settings.

If I'm stuck with the quality of the video recordings, that's fine and I'll make do. I would just prefer to find an app that can shoot at higher than stock bit rate etc and give me as many options (or close to) that the apps on iOS offers. I came to android as I absolutely LOVE using lollipop and the way it works is brilliant, so as said if I need to continue as I am that's fine. If it helps I'm using GPE 5.0.1 at the moment. Please not I'm not looking to start an iOS vs android discussion, just looking to find out what options I may or may not have and what I might be missing in the Play Store.

I have a problem when recording videos at night.

When photographing in dim picture is visible (with noise :D ), but when I start shooting, the picture darkens considerably and there is almost nothing to see.
I attach the screen when taking pictures and taking pictures during recording.

What could it be?

[Q] Mic Problem: My voice not going through in calls, same goes for voice recording topic

Hi xda!
First of all my specs:
I9300 International
Unofficial CM 12 build made by JustArchi and Moster7
My problem is that my voice does not go through in a call, the person who I am talking says that he cannot hear me bur I can hear him. Same goes for voice recording, the only thing that is recorded is some sort of static. But in video recordings, well, it records my voice but with some static.
I tried cleaning both the mic holes with a safety pin by poking the holes carefully, but it did moy work.
I cleared the data of every app that uses voice recording, no effect.
Help pls.

Camcorder green recording bug topic

hi every one, i did a lil rom port, the slimbean 4.1.2 for L5 that i posted, and the rom is awesome if you like 4.1.2 roms. I use it for my every day phone.
But i ran in to a lil problem. The rom is fully working, and only has one bug.

Camcorder cant record video.

At first it freezes when you start recording.
but then i added

debug.camcorder.disablemeta=1

To build.prop and the camcorder started to record video but all videos had a green screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?

[Q] Low FPS while recording using AOSP ROM topic

Why does it record with a maximum of 15-18 fps when using an aosp ROM? I have tried many ASOP ROMs, but each of them are bad at video recording. Is there a fix for this issue? I am well aware that HOX can record at 30fps, I'm ok with 25fps too, but 18 is just too low for its capabilities. :mad:

the mic seems to work perfectly fine when I record videos.

However my voice messages on Whatsapp, as well as any recordings with the built in voice recorder don't record properly. There is only strange noise, hissing.

Do you know Any solution?

[Q] Nexus 6 Video Recording Hiss topic

I noticed after recording a couple videos at 1080 and 4k that I'm getting a pretty noticeable hiss in the background. I tried changing roms, kernels, camera apps, nothing has worked in getting rid of the background hiss. Does anyone else experience this or know of a way to get rid of this, or should I take the phone back to T-Mobile? Sample below.

[Q] Phone stops recording movies after 4-6s. topic

Hello guys!

My Xperia M2's camera stops recording videos after 4-6 seconds, eveytime. When I start recording a video, the phone randomly stop recording after some time. This is not the problem of the memory (both phone memory and SD card) nor the SD card class.
What can I do, to be able to record movies normally ? Has anybody faced that kind of problem before ?
