Hi, I have a question about N900 Roms. Is there any lollipop-based ROM that works with the N900A? If so, how would I go about installing? Really would hate to wait a couple months, if not more, for AT&T to push out an update to us!!:rolleyes:

[Q] Unlocked/tampered, and bad root / Phone works fine topic

Hi, I messed up my HTC one M7 , it's AT&T (works on T-mo sim) the phone works but shows tampered and it's badly rooted.

Long story short : I unlocked the boot loader and installed Team Recovery then rooted my HTC, everything works fine ( no tampered, and root works like a charm ) .
When the camera started showing pink/purple in low light , I wanted to return the phone to HTC to fix it, so I wanted to return the phone back to stock so the warranty will cover the repairs, I Relocked the bootloader and tried to update the phone using RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_Cingular_1.26.502.12.exe , the update didn't go through and the Updater crashs everytime I try . the phone boots fine and works fine but now shows Tampered and for the sake of me I can't get it to root it again, I tried to install SuperSu and SuperUser from Team recovery again, everything installs fine but when I use ROOT Checker it says : Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device .

How can I fix this and go back to stock ? I can't get S-Off because the phone is not rooted properly . Please help, Thanks you

I used Windows 8.1 both times ( to unlock and root successfully ) and (Relock and go back to stock miserably ) but I have Linux Ubunto ready on a live USB just in case it's needed to fix this problem .

GROM USB Audio out works with my Verizon Note 4. Kinda. topic

So I just purchased a GROM Audio Honda Acura 03+ USB Android iPod Bluetooth AUX adapter( SKU: HON1U3 )

With both the Bluetooth and USB AUX adapter it came to a pricey 9.96. What I got for that price is:

• Bluetooth media and headphone profiles


• USB out via AALinQ Car Music Player


• OK Google Hotword still works

Con's:

• You have to load your media into the AALinQ application to get it to play via USB, that means no Google Play music over USB, and all system sounds aren't automatically sent to the USB audio like with the Note 3 and previous Galaxy devices.


• You don't get track titles etc via Bluetooth at least with my Note 4 on my '08 Acura MDX and the GROM connected to my XM 2 Sat input on the stock head unit.


• I'm getting a weird slight crackle when audio stops and starts playing via Bluetooth, I think this is because the Grom adapter is connecting and disconnecting USB audio to the head unit, I got the same crackle when connecting my MHL USB audio connector when the car head unit was on.

Pro's:

• The nice thing is that unlike a dedicated MHL USB connector which is the other way to get USB audio out on the Note 4 you aren't blocking your microphone while connected


• You are charging. which I hadn't got working with USB to MHL.

Just thought this might be useful to those of us who don't have A2DP built into our car stereo's. GROM is compatible with hundreds and hundreds of vehicles, just use the Browse by auto make selector at http://www.gromaudio.com/index.html

Stuck on LTE (which barely works). topic

Hey all,

New S4 came in yesterday (corporate device, Maas360 and all that fun crap) and within a few hours I had it up and running however I started noticing that when someone would try to call me it wouldn't ring. Data works consistently but even when I show three bars on LTE if I swipe down it'll say "No Service". More often than not if I try to place a call out it will tell me "Network not available". I've wiped the device with the hopes that it would fix this but nothing. I've read about many issues related to connectivity of various sorts when it comes to KitKat. Is this my issue? I've compared the signal to my old Motorola Droid Razr and there is much difference. I'm attaching screenshots. Not sure why but it appears that my phone will sit on LTE and never drops down to anything else. If I test with CDMA I get absolutely nothing unlike the Moto. Any thoughts would be appreciated! :good:

So this morning I picked up my Note 4, used it normally to check emails, etc, went to turn off/lock screen and it wouldn't respond at all. I held down the power button and then it brings up the power menu, I restarted a few times and still nothing. Is my power button defective or could some setting have automatically changed the settings?

Hello, my Huawei y300 (u8833) only turn on and works while I plug in my usb cable either (charge). My phone doesn't turn on when i press the power button and I'm on just my battery, amazingly it turns on instantly after i plug in the usb charger and remove the battery. So i got a little tired of having to plug in my phone all the time and not use it on battery. Any help? I dropped my phone 9 months ago and it didn't work back then but i never tried the usb cable on without battery. But now after 9 months i plugged in usb cable and no battery and *boom* it works. Any advice as to what is going on? Can i ever get it to work from my battery? (BTW there is a red notification light (not blinking) if i put battery in along with usb cable. Thanks for any help.
Update: Somehow its charging my battery!

Hi guys,
I have android kitkat 4.4.4, which is OS that has disabled function of moving large app data (obb files) to external SD card. My device is Huawei Ascend G620S-L01 (same as Honor 4 Play). I have root. I am browsing this and other forums for 2 days. I tried several solutions, but each has a issue. I tried each type of solution with more apps so that I can be sure, there is no problem in the app:
- Clean master says that my device does not allow to move apps to SD.
- System app uninstaller told me there is no need to transfer data, because sd card is shared (wtf?). I tried some more apps that should transfer app data.
- SD unlockers - I thought there would be a need to unlock my sd card, it was written on some forum, so I tried. It went successful, but still nothing was able to transfer app data to sd card.

Then I read about mounting, so I tried several programs. All of them had same issue - the game was looking for its data and trying to download them, eventhough they had been mounted. More people with different devices, had same problem, but most of them were just running game unmounted, or without reboot. I tried reboot and also checked mount before running a game.

I hope I was just doing something wrong and it will be possible to store apps on my SD. One guy had a solution for this, he wrote two scripts to overwrite something that I did not understand, but they made it possible to store obb data on SD card and also made apps look for them on SD (I have no problems to transfer data manually, but no app will look for them on external SD). Please, is there any solution for me?

the mic seems to work perfectly fine when I record videos.

However my voice messages on Whatsapp, as well as any recordings with the built in voice recorder don't record properly. There is only strange noise, hissing.

Do you know Any solution?

I have an LG GT 540 phone.
It came on 1.6, I managed to upgrade using LG Suite to 2.1

However as virtually no apps works on 2.1 anymore I need to upgrade it.


I would want 4.0/4.1 however when googling about the download patches to upgrade to them both of those 2 break the phone's camera, so are stupid and pointless! :/

And if you upgrade to 2.3 you cannot use LG Suite anymore (so cannot transfer photos or video to your phone), so again making it worthless.


But so does anyone know the highest operating system download that there I for the LG GT540 that still keeps everything working perfectly??
