[Q] Note 4 ~ Android 5.0 ~ Touchwiz topic

Okay first of all, I have only made one ROM ever, so I am not the brightest on this subject. My question though is for a Dev that is fairly smart. Would it be possible for those itching to have lollipop on their Note 4, but who don't want to lose Touchwiz features, to install the international Note 3 5.0 ROM on their Note 4 if a Dev would port it. If its possible why hasn't some talented dev( because there are several here) ported it yet. I know the structure would be a little different, but I'm thinking it would be entirely possible to port it with some tinkering. Just let me know if I am way off base or if this would be something to really look at.

This writeup tells you how to edit the libWFD_ENGINE.so file and what utilities needed if you wanted to get into doing it yourself. .

Do not use the libWFD_ENGINE file posted for the n7100 on the sprint note 2.. (I tried and it killed my 4g so always rename the files for backup reasons. .)

The file I ended up using was pre-edited you can find it in the Op of the Community rom thread done by JLMANCUSO located here...

I tried flashing the fix in phils touch but it failed... I ended up extracting and pushing the file with root explorer. . The end result is successful working of screen mirroring. ..

I have a new T-Mobile Note 4 (that I'm using on AT&T) and the phone is quite fast, but I enjoy tweaking and am planning to root the phone for Xposed and a few other things, so I was also thinking about flashing a new ROM.

I also use GearVR so I need a compatible (TouchWiz?) ROM and was thinking about FireKat.

Does it really make that big of a difference?

I'm more concerned about performance than battery life, but of course battery life is important too.

I want to ask if it is possible to get the stock Android 5.0 Lollipop on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
If it is possible, how can I do it and is it worthed?
Is losing all the S-Pen features and air wake-up and all that worthed to stay on a faster, stock Android?

Whenever I flash Touchwiz ROMs I get force closes left and right when I first boot the phone up. I have no idea what's wrong. AOSP ROMs seem to work fine.

Looking desparately for a Samsung S4 I9500 Lollipop (5.0.X) Stock ROM TouchWiz screenshots of:

1. Phone application while in call.
2. While in call and keypad open.

I tried almost everything but no Luck! And I just got to put my hand on ASAP...

I have the S4 9505i Samsung edition with touchwiz, which I rooted and installed cyagenmod 11.
It was working fine, but now it's time to move on,
I'd like give my phone to my father but before doing it I would like to unroot and convert it to google play edition, so he can get Lollipop, OTA etc.

Questions:
- is it possible to flush stock google rom on a "touchwiz" edition? ( if I'm not mistakken at leas the partions sizes are different )
-is it possible to do it on a mac (which doesn't have odin) ?

[Q] Switched back to touchwiz from cyanogenmod - radios arent working - advice? topic

Hi all,

I've switched back to Touchwiz for the camera after having cyanogenmod on the phone.

Now it seems like a catastrophe - WIFI won't work with some roms (specifically touchwiz, and now touchwiz wont even boot) while making and receiving calls and texts won't work with lolipop or with cyanogenmod.

I've wiped totally in recovery before installing anything to ensure no issues, but I am at my wits end, about to buy an iPhone tomorrow because I need a reliable phone for business.

Any advice on what I might do? I have the I337M version (rogers)

after updating to kitkat . samsung did not gave new touchwiz theme :(
