Has anyone found a way to disable the annoying wireless battery notification or the battery full notification? It is really annoying if you are in a car using a wireless charger and run an app that keeps the screen turned on. For example, if the screen is on when you place the phone on the charger, the charging notification will appear and never go away. The same thing happens when you are driving along and the battery reaches 100%. The notification is stuck on the screen until you turn off the screen and then turn it back on. Is there a better way to avoid this?

[Q] Charging issue hardware related topic
Just to be clear, what I am asking for here is advice on which part I need to replace on my phone in order to fix this.
Here is what happened:
I was trying to make a bench power supply out of an old computer power supply I had laying around. Well when I went to connect the "charge only USB Cable" to the Molex connector I accidentally swapped the wire colors, I meant to use the red (5volt) but instead connected the yellow (12volt) to the USB cable. Stupid and careless mistake I know, trust me... Nothing strange happened other than the phone gave me the "incompatible charger" error. The phone will turn on and function 100% normally so long as the battery is charged via another device. For example I take my wife's fully charged battery out of her S4 and put it in mine, the phone works fine until the battery dies; the battery I swap to her phone charges perfectly fine in her phone so it is NOT a battery issue.
The phone will not charge a battery anymore, with the original charger or the other 3 white Samsung brand chargers I have, nor my car charger. After doing some research online I discovered that it was likely to be a fried USB board, which I replaced today. So the USB board and USB connector are brand new and I am still having the same problem. I also read about restoring to factory settings which I have done and also reinstalled my custom ROM. I reinstalled AFTER the error message began occurring so it was NOT cause by a the ROM update. I read that I may be able to use a wireless charger which would solve my problem, but I don't actually own a wireless charging base and I have no plans of buying one unless it is my ONLY option to fix this.
Here is an exact description of the problem:
When I connect a USB charger of any kind to the phone while it is powered off, I get a black screen and the phone vibrates once every 4 seconds or so and the battery never appears on the screen nor does the screen light up in any way.
When I connect a USB charger or connect it to a PC while the phone is on I get "The connected charger is incompatible with this phone. To prevent damage to your phone, charging has been stopped. To continue charging, use the original charger and cable that were provided with this phone." error message and a battery icon with a red "X." If connected to a PC the PC says "unrecognized USB device."
Here is my phone info:
Verizon Galaxy S4
Model SCH-I545
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband: I545VRUAMDK
Hardware Version: I545.06
Rooted
Rom: Hyperdrive RLS20
Recovery: PhilZ Touch v6.54.9
ClockworkMod v6.0.5.0
If there is a tread that has already covered this I apologize, I did do a search and didn't see one.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated.

S5 no charging topic
Phone was damaged after falling on ground. LCD cracked, but all other ok.
After replacing LCD, charger , middle house , I have problem with charging. The phone is not charging anymore. I have used/replaced 3 other chargers, the same issue.
Phone can recognize something is pluggged in, but won't charge.
When I turned off the phone, connecting cable, phone shows charging, green bubles for 2 seconds and then off. Nothing more.
I have used 3 other cables, other adapter, 3 different chargers components (original) , 2 other batteries (not original) , but the original is damaged, but still usefull, and still the same issue.
I think there can be something with Charging management in the phone.
Can someone help ? But please, some relevant info. I have checked several sites, nothing helped. Cable is ok, battery ok, charger port ok...

Very slow charging topic
I've had my nexus 9 now for about 2 months and I usually charge it overnight. The past few days I've noticed that in the morning it wasn't full. I tried a different charger besides the oem one included and had the same problem. The screenshot from gsam shows how the rate of charge goes all over. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Could this be a problem with my charger, nexus 9 or some app that is using excessive battery in the background?

[Q] Battery drain and slow charging issue in Micromax Yureka topic
Hi android users,
I got a new micromax yureka and am having an issue of battery drainage from the very first day. I just installed few apps like whatsapp, facebook, mx player etc. Sometime later, I observed that my battery is discharging very soon. It seems like, can discharge from 100% to 0% in just 2-3 hours.
I checked the battery status and found that "Media Server" is listed on the top with 51%. For this, I did this:
Settings-> Apps ->All, select Media Storage & disable it. Clear data & reboot. Now enable it & reboot.
Referred from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/yure...ureka-t3015549
Now somewhat battery is discharging slowing but still results are not good. Also, mobile is charging very slowly. (Say <=20% in an hour). I googled other solutions for this problems, but none worked. Can anyone help me in this?
PS: My device is not rooted.

Qi Charging Issue; Turns On and Off at 100% Charge topic
Do any of you have an issue where the phone screen turns on and off (and beeps) when it reaches 100% charged using a Qi charger? I am using the official Samsung wireless back cover with a Nokia Qi charging pad. When the phone reaches Charged, it will turn the screen on, then it'll say Charging Wirelessly 100%, then it'll turn the screen off and start charging... and the cycle repeats every 20 second or so. Anyone else?

Teclast X98 Air charging problems AND Workarounds (no 3G, no II) topic
Hi !
I had 2 Problems (running Win 8.1):
First: it only charged when OFF, not when windows booted.
Then: NO Charge at all after playing with a USB Hub (nothing defective, just unplugging and replugging).
I solved the NO CHARGE Problem this way:
I opened it, unsoldered the battery (easy, 3 wired, PLEASE isolate them, do NOT short the wires).
Then i sortened (bridged) the 3 solder "blobs" on the PCB with each other to drain remaining capacity from the "confused" charger chip i wanted to reset.
Then resolder battery, BAM, it works again.
My first problem remains --> only charging when OFF, but as i now have an AMpere meter conneted all the time i guess i have the solution !
My battery profile has a low brightness, my "powered" has a high brightness. So if the X98 detects the charger it starts charging (i can see around 1 Amp flowing) and turns up the brightness. BUT the bright screen drains so much power that the Voltage drops and the charging circuit senses that and thinks chargin is over and stops charging.
If you have around 75% brightness this goes on & off forever, my Ampere meter jumping between 1 Amp and 0 Amp all the time, brightness going up and down.
Solution (Well workaround): Set the "powered" brigthness to a low value and ENJOY charging.
Maybe Teclast can solve that via Firmware. If they care...
Greetings,
Nils
P.S. if that helps or you have a better Solution, PLEASE post here so we can see if that is just me or if this is a general situation !!!

magnetic charging broken? Blinking light topic
When I use magnetic charging (original charger, tried a dock and magnetic tips) the LED blinks and the charging indicator keeps flashing off/on.
Its recognising the dock for sure because it will start the daydream, but it just won't charge this way.
USB charging is 100% fine and I am using the original charger/cable. Stock latest firmware, unrooted.
I think it started around the last update - but I'm not sure....
anybody got any ideas?

[Q] LG G2 charging problem topic
I brought a used LG G2 sprint model off ebay. I just took it out of the box. When connect it to the charger the notification light just blinks green twice every 10 seconds, and the phone wont even turn on? Should I try to send it to LG for repair. I don't know how my luck will be with the seller
Four issues: Dialer, camera, charging and flashlight. topic
So I have four issues with the nexus 6.
Using stock ROM, not rooted.
1. The remaining charging time shown on the phone is incorrect. It normally takes around 30min more than it states on the lock screen. Using the provided turbo charger.
Battery life and charging is not a problem, the information is.
2. My dialer, or better yet, calling capabilities, don't work sometimes, I need to reboot for it to work.
3. Camera stops working and says: Can't connect to camera. I need to reboot to make it work again.
4. If the flashlight is turned on it turns off automatically after like 15sec and the icon disappears from the quick setting menu. Need to reboot to make it work again.
Anyone else with these issues?

[Q] when charging phone makes a noise topic
Hello
This started recently(about a week ago) When i charge my phone with the standart supplyed HTC wall charger, when the phone is charged to 100% the phone is starting to make wierd noises like loud high pitch/whizzing noise. While it's not 100% its not doing that. The interesting part is that it's not doing all the time, but time to time, like it goes loud and then sound dissapears, then again appears like pulsing... and yes its coming from phone inside not the charger.
Took my wife's M8 charger that came in the box and my mini does the same noise.
What could it be? The noise is hard to explain, but especially in nights it can be heard when its quiet and phone lies across the room on the table charging i can hear the wierd buzzing when i try to go asleep, and im worried if there could malfuncion something or can even explode? Do I get it to warranty ASAP? but again it will be hard to explain this abnormally...
Always using my standart HTC charger or wifes m8 charger(not the fast charge, but standart charger) with the standart usb cable that came with it.

USB Cable for safe charging topic
Hello One users! So, I need a long USB Cable to charge my One, the one that came with the device is just to small . But, after seeing OnePlus devices melting down for not using a proper usb cable, I get scared of buying one that not works properly. Wich usb cable (you can give me a model or the specifications) will work just fine and will be safe to use with the One's charger?
[Q] Charging Question topic
I just received my Padfone X yesterday. So far, I think I made a good choice. Once it is rooted and all of the crap removed, it works well. I need someone to help clarify something for me...
Should my phone charge when in the tablet?
So far, what I am experiencing is that, if the tablet is plugged in, the tablet and phone charge. However, if the phone is in the tablet and the tablet doesn't have AC power, the phone battery doesn't charge. Not a huge deal but I would like to understand if that is by design or if I have a problem.
Thanks.

Lock screen not responding when charging topic
I have a N9005, and i discovered that when the charger is connected, it will be very hard to almost impossible to unlock the lock screen with swipe.
I can see the animation when swiping over the screen, and have since disabled the animation to no avail, but the screen won't unlock.
Occasionally I may succeed in unlocking, if I hold my finger on the screen for a few seconds, then swiping with a slight pressure. Once unlocked swipes on the home screen will work, though sometimes with little stuttering.
I have stock rom and recovery, rooted using the Towel root method.
Once I disconnect the charger everything is back to normal.
Any advice?

[Q] Any hope for a stock recovery boot loop with a broken charging port? topic
I have an old Sprint S3 that I am using as my son's media player that I swap batteries to keep it going because of a broken charging port. It's usually in airplane mode but I connected to wifi and noticed there was a System update (L710VPUDNJ2). I accepted the update but after rebooting into stock recovery I got a system 7 error (I'm not sure what I did in the past that would cause a system 7).
I think it's possible to sideload this OTA update via ODIN but since the usb port is non functioning I can't try that. Factory reset did not get me out of the recovery boot loop. Not that I expected it, but applying the update via sdcard did not work either.
Any hope for this phone?

[Q] Mod to disable Wireless Charging Notifications in Lollipop? topic
So I've been looking around for this for a while. It seems like there are a couple potential solutions to stop the wireless charging notifications (i.e. starting and stopping), but they only work for xposed or for kitkat.
Here's the mod thread for kitkat, but these lines are not in the PowerUI file for lollipop: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2799050
Here's a thread for kitkat on xposed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpos...posed-t2587431
I can't find anything in Lollipop, anyone else having this problem and found a good solution? Thanks!
