Touch Screen Issues topic

I've started to have touch screen issues the past few days.

Any idea what may cause it?

Sometimes, when I touch the screen, say in settings, I touch one item, but a different item is selected somewhere randomly on the screen.

Happens in TWRP as well. If I select options to wipe, it will select others, and then it doesn't swipe over to execute the action.

Every time when my finger suddenly stops sliding , the trail left on the screen seems to be a little bit longer, and then it just jumped back to my finger. That's annoying. Is there anybody else who's experiencing this as well? How can i fix it?

Quick touch lag fix for some g3 phones topic

I did a search to see if this was covered and came up with nothing. So, sorry if it has as this is my first post ever. Anyway, under settings-accesibility, turn off touch to zoom. that feature enables triple tap to zoom. my phone came with it off and works perfect. wife's phone was horrible, couldnt play games for the touch lag. turned hers off and fixed all issues. So i've searched around and couldn't find anything exactly like what i am experiencing. So on any rom either stock or lollipop custom etc, after a day of use without reboot my touch screen becomes weird ghost touches random click keep opening app and its all over the screen not just one place, before this happens say i'm scrolling chrome when i scroll up works perfectly but when i scroll down its completely unresponsive. Basically i'm just asking for some advice before i take it back to the shop i purchased it from. Does anyone have ideas about what could cause this and what i should specifically say to the store of purchase when taking it back?

[Q] Touch screen not responding topic

I have a problem with my touch screen.. Sometimes it just not responding any of my inputs and sometimes it just "touch" anything he wants without me touching it.. first place it happened was while charging it with a "chinese 5v/1.2A" charger because i don't know why my original charger exploded.. (It was so loud that i thought something hit the ground..)

The problem dissapeared when i stop charging the phone.. until 2 days ago..

I was undervolting the cpu a little and when i finished the test (with no errors..) my screen when unresponsive at all.. the power and volume buttons worked, even the hardware buttons in the front but the screen wasn't working at all.. Turning the screen on and off for a while do the trick but only for a few seconds..

It happened in stock rom and artmod rom.. but i don't remember too well if in stock rom i was in solid kernel too or not so.. I really don't know if it's hardware of software problem..

Any help please.. ?

Nook touch screen dead topic

Hi,

I loaded CM 11 and was working fine. I tapped on the CMD update APP and it checked for updates and tablet rebooted and touch screen failed to work. I tried reinstall, wiped everything etc. I tried cm10 again and no luck. Not sure what to do at this point.

Broken touch sensor connector topic

I received a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 with a problem. The former user broke the PCB connector for the touch sensor and all that is left in the board are the pins but not the plastic case of the connector.

I want to remove the pins and solder a new connector but I have difficulties in identifying this connector and getting a part number to order it.

I know it is a FFC connector with 80 contacts, 0.4mm pitch and two rows but my search for a connector of these characteristics has been unsuccessful.

Can anybody help me?

OnePlus One touch scereen issue. Bottom part only affected, and only if I touch it with my thumb.

After a few months of bugless experiense of my OPO use, now is my turn. Touch scereen issue only at the bottom part of it (where the navigation bar should be ). If I touch it with my thumb, then touch became incorrect, sloppy, with some small dead zones. But if I touch it with my forefinger in the same place, then everything is OK.

At first I thought that the case ROM, tried stock,CM11,CM12,ColorOS... no changes.
Then I thought that I had dirty fingers, washed my hands, cut nails - no changes
I thought, maybe is the glass protector issue, took it off - still no changes.

Now, I assume that the problem has something to do with the grounding...
Did anyone similar problems? How you solve it?

cant Use my touch screen!!? topic

So i installed the rooted stock download on my s-on SprHtc one m7 and the install was seemingly successful, but now my touch screen isnt working. i cant unlock the phone and when i press the volume keys i cant touch the slider, or slide the drop down menu down. when i try to restart the phone it hangs at the "1" count indefinitely it seems. any ideas as to what went wrong? to make matters worse, i usually back up my data on twrp and then port it to my laptop to save space, but now my laptop is having trouble recognizing my phone.

[HELP] No touch sensitivity while running games on S4-I9505 topic

Basically when I enter a game I'm stuck in its menu because my touch won't work.
This happens for games only with larger size, like Max payne, GTA vice city, spider man 2.
Otherwise my phone is perfect and I do not experience these touch issues with smaller sized games like smash it, bomb squad.
I did my research and not able to find a solution.
Please help!
