[Q] xiaomi mi 4 contact list gone topic

please help,

i'm having trouble with the xiaomi 4 contact list, as you can see i'm having issues with my contact list somehow all my contact list is still there but now showing their number only the whatsapp / wechat details. the phone number is shown only when i klik the whatsapp icon there and cannot make a direct phone call as it will lead me to the whatsapp icon and thus i must add the number to my contact list manually.
worse thing happenned if the contact is not in my whatsapp list and only in wechat / neither of them, the phone number basically just gone.....
this is quite troublesome and it happens whenever i update my MIUI, i don't sync with the mi cloud server.

anyone have any solutions for me that would be nice

[Q] Nexus Player TV compatibility list? topic

Is there a TV compatibility list anywhere? And has anyone set this thing up on a vizio m-series smart TV? Or any vizio smart TV? Mine will not output sound on my vizio TV but it works fine on a Samsung and Phillips TV. The Samsung is not a smart TV and the Phillips is a smart TV. Any advise?

Smart Unlock - Incompatible App List topic

Hi,
Some users report that Smart Unlock stops working after some time. After some investigation we discovered that the problem is related with other installed apps or specific configurations.

There are some app that may affect to Smart Unlock correct behaviour. Here you have some of the detected incompatible apps but there may be more :

Clean Master,
ES Task Manager
SONY Smart Connect
Llama (profile manager)
ACDisplay
Snaplock Locker
Gravity Screen Pro
Airwatch

There are also some power saving profiles/apps that can make smart unlock to stop working, For example HTC battery power saver, or SONY Stamina, If your wifi or BT connection gets interrupted, you will be request for the pin or pattern unlock in the next screen wake up.

Keep also in mind that Bluetooth Low Energy devices are not supported at all, so make sure you are using a regular bluetooth.

There are also some corporation security like Exchange policy or Airwatch app that wil make Smart Unlock to stop the normal behaviour.

Disable scrolling-cache for list on popup topic

Hi,

I want to disable scrolling-cache for every list on popup, such as ringtone selector, etc. How can I accomplish this?

I tried to disable scrolling-cache entirely, but some app which takes benefit from scrolling-cache, such as ColorNote, becomes laggy. It seems the app doesn't explicitly enable the scrolling-cache, because the default value of scrolling-cache is enabled. So I think it is better to keep scrolling-cache enabled by default.

Moto G 2015 wish list topic

Ok, so i love Motorola as a company, despite the recent hate (which is not justified in my opinion), i love all their products and i think they are great. I owned a Moto G 1st gen and bought the Moto G 2nd gen right after the launch and loving it even more after Android L update, so i have a wish list for the next gen :D

If they want to dominate the mid range phone segment and make a killer smartphone i would recommend the next wish list, i don't know if it is possible for the price, so here it is:

Display: 5” - 5.5" full HD IPS 1080 x 1920 pixels

Processor: Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 615 octa-core chipset (MSM8939) 64-bit

GPU: Adreno 405

RAM: 2 GB A MUST!

[HELP NEEDED] My MT6582 phone doesn't list sdcard files in root shell topic

Hello guys,
I have problem with my MediaTek phone, mine is QMobile Noir i7, it's working fine as wine, but the problem is when I access root shell phone doesn't list sdcard0 files, when I exit the root shell to shell mode, shell mode list's sdcard0 files without any problem.
What could be the problem?
I've done nothing to it, except installing CTR recovery and rooting phone through it.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo N7505 Official Modem List topic

Hi Guys,
I thought of creating an official Modem list for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo N7505 Modems
I will be adding all the modems available in Modem.bin .

What is a modem?
Modem/Radio/Baseband is all the same thing and can be seen by going to Settings - About device - Baseband version. It's basically a driver which receives and sends Mobile Network signals as well as handling switching between GPRS, 3G, HSDPA etc....... (but not WiFi connection, that and switchover between Mobile Network and WiFi is handled by the kernel). Reasoning as to why Modem has no influence on WiFi can be found in this post by Entropy

Why?
Sometimes some custom Roms come with modems for various regions. If your modem is designed for different regions than yours then the chances are that it will sometime not work with optimal network performance.

You should look into changing your modem if you are experiencing the following :
Poor 3G speeds
Very fast battery drain whilst on 3G
Poor call reception

How to check:
Settings >> About device >> Baseband version

How to flash the Modem:

Open Odin and click on CP button the select Modem.bin file and make sure everything is unchecked just auto reboot then press start and your device will reboot with the new Modem :)

[Q] Contact list (dual sim) topic

Hi!

Maybe it's a simple question but i didn't find the answer. I have 2 sim cards in my Moto g 2 and I can't see opportunity to choose on which card the new telephone number will be saved. Could anyone help me in this case? Secound case is related to first question - will i see contacts from both card in my contact list? I'm asking becouse i don't have any contacts on secound card yet.

Hi, I have one problem, I didnt make a backup of stock rom for my phone, zte blade l2, now I have a custom rom but I want to back on stock, on site there is no rom for my country, can I download rom for another country and flash it thru cwm? For Serbia is only pdf manual :( please help me...
